Use of Planscape

Planscape is intended for use by regional planners and stakeholders involved in landscape treatment decisions. The tool is provided free of charge for public benefit.

Collaborative Effort

Planscape is a collaborative effort by the California Natural Resources Agency, US Forest Service, The University of California, and Spatial Informatics Group (SIG) with support from Google.org. All intellectual property rights and data associated with Planscape are owned by the contributing parties.

User Responsibilities

a. Accuracy of Information: Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they input into Planscape.

b. Compliance: Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using Planscape.

a. Data Collection: Planscape may collect and store non-personal information for the purpose of improving the tool’s functionality.

b. Third-Party Services: Planscape may use third-party services, and users agree to the privacy policies of such services.
